The DAV Auxiliary held it’s annual luncheon & tacking party on September 18, 2018. We Invited grandmothers, mothers, daughters, wives, and children of any veteran. We started our day by tacking quilts; we tacked 20 lap robes, 9 baby quilts, & 2 youth quilts.
We had the honor off our DAV Auxiliary State Commander Sharon Keyes who came to join us for a time. Unit 62 Commander Yvonne Piland gave her a gift bag of appreciation.
The lap robes go to Mount Vernon Nursing Home, Baby & youth quilts to OCCAC for the needy of our community.
We enjoyed making new friends & catching up with friends we haven’t seen for awhile.
We want to thank all the ladies that worked so hard making the lap robes & quilts that were donated.
We had an amazing day tacking, playing games & eating all the goodies brought!
