1800’s Day Spring Fest

We’ll be kicking off our spring season with our fourth annual 1800’s Day Spring Fest on Friday, April 12th and Saturday, April 13th!

Joined by some fantastic vendors and demonstrators, we’ll be highlighting information, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations of life from 200 years ago as we try to bring a part of history to life in a fun yet educational way!

Come watch artisans demonstrating how things were done back then, and how wares were made! Listen to presentations on the lives of incredible people from history, and other inspiring stories! Find questionnaires and fact signs on all sorts of intriguing trivia!

The General Store will have brand new spring products, and Instant Winner Games will be going on over the loudspeakers!
And all this will be in conjunction with our usual garden plants, herbs, and flowers!

It will be a weekend of historical adventure for the whole family, and we encourage families and school groups to come out for a day to have fun learning, so mark your calendars for the third weekend of April!

Bush Family of Greasy Creek Honored

Tonight at our February 5, 2019  monthly DAV meeting, we honor the Bush family of Greasy Creek General Store.

Greasy Creek is a huge long time supporter of the Buffalo DAV Chapter 62.

Commander Melissa (Tank) Hernandez presented Dan , Cynthia and Josh Bush with an
appreciation award.

Commander Hernandez encourages and thanks the Bush’s,  “this is just a small token of thanks for all you do for not only veterans but the entire community.”

Such a blessing to have people in our community supporting one another.
